Abstract
A theoretical framework for conditionally unstable flows over a mountain ridge is provided by means of numerical simulations performed with a cloud-resolving model. Three nondimensional parameters are identified, which explain most of the solution features. The role of wind shear is also addressed.File in questo prodotto:
