Single-gas adsorption properties of some important species (H2, CH4, CO2 CO, H2O) are evaluated for Faujasite NaX and NaY zeolites [1]. A number of literature adsorption isotherms available in a wide range of temperature (77-543 K) and pressure (3-6300 kPa) is considered. A multivariate regression analysis is applied to such data using for estimating Langmuir and Sips adsorption models. A comparison with the experimental adsorption properties already available in the open literature provides a furher confirmation of the results obtained in this work. In particular, the comparison was carried out for saturation loading and isosteric heat of adsorption. Furthermore, a functionality of the evaluated parameters with temperature is proposed, this providing a good estimation of the adsorption properties to be used in a wide range of applications. Such an analysis useful to extend the literature data, in some cases, also covers the lack of information relative to NaX and NaY zeolites.
