Two new arylacetylenic p-type semiconductors were designed and synthesized. Solution-processed FET devices based on these materials exhibited high performance, with charge carrier mobilities approaching 0.1 cm2 V-1 s-1 and Ion/Ioff ratio up to ~107 in ambient conditions.
