I test sulle competenze generaliste dei laureati italiani: uno strumento per valutare la qualità dell'università

The work compares the results produced by the test TECO on generic skills, with the opinions expressed by undergraduates on the contribution that their generic skills received from the graduate program attended. The hypothesis is that a significant correlation between the test TECO and the feedback of the students can be considered an evidence of a causal relationship between the data obtained from the test and the ability the graduation course transmitted to the student throughout the academic year. Asymmetries between the two results may be indicative of some weaknesses of the results obtained from the course, which should therefore be improved. However, the absence of a strong and significant correlation between the test results and the evaluations of students do not support the hypothesis, and therefore the use of TECO test as indicator of the quality of a university course.

Il lavoro confronta i risultati prodotti dal test sulle competenze generaliste sottomesso durante la sperimentazione TECO, con i giudizi espressi dai laureandi sul contributo che le loro competenze generaliste hanno ricevuto dal corso di laurea frequentato. L'ipotesi è che una correlazione significativa fra i risultati TECO e le valutazioni degli studenti sia una evidenza dell'esistenza di una relazione causale fra i dati rilevati dal test e le capacità trasmesse allo studente nel periodo universitario. Le asimmetrie fra i due risultati potrebbero invece indicare alcune debolezze dei risultati ottenuti dal CDL, che potrebbero essere oggetto di intervento per il miglioramento della qualità dell'offerta formativa. Tuttavia l'assenza di correlazioni robuste e significative fra i risultati del test e le valutazioni degli studenti non supportano l'ipotesi e dunque l'utilizzo dei risultati TECO come indicatori di qualità di un CDL.
