GAL1 includes the territory of five mountain communities: Agordina, Cadore, Longaronese-Zoldo, Boite Valley, and Cadore Centro Comelico and Sappada. "OPENALP-3Dolomiti" project is the reference structure to disseminate geo-scientific knowledge of natural, cultural, tourist and scientific information of the whole GAL1 area. The target is to reach the most differentiated kinds of users (primary and high schools students, sightseers, amateurs, "mystical paths" pilgrims, etc.) using on-line and off-line applications (Openalp-3D scene, www.openalpmaps.it, etc.) and interactive tools that enables to navigate in a 3D scene with high definition images and showing associated elements such as interesting points, technical cards, altitude, photos, PDF maps and .gpx files that can be downloaded. These utilities could be a starting point to stimulate and develop a sustainable geotourism in upland, which is often depopulated because of a lack of job opportunities.

Abstract
These utilities could be a starting point to stimulate and develop a sustainable geotourism in upland, which is often depopulated because of a lack of job opportunities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
