Within the RiSEM project (Seismic Risk of Monumental Building) two different kinds of GPR measurements were performed. The first one was carried out by using an ultra dynamic range - ultra high resolution GPR in order to investigate the presence of hypogeal structures under the "Piazza della Cisterna" (Cistern Square). The second one was carried out by using a non contact 4-8 GHz GPR system specifically design for masonry investigations. In this case the measurement was performed on one of the bearing walls of "Torre Grossa" (Big Tower).

Abstract
Within the RiSEM project (Seismic Risk of Monumental Building) two different kinds of GPR measurements were performed. The first one was carried out by using an ultra dynamic range - ultra high resolution GPR in order to investigate the presence of hypogeal structures under the "Piazza della Cisterna" (Cistern Square). The second one was carried out by using a non contact 4-8 GHz GPR system specifically design for masonry investigations. In this case the measurement was performed on one of the bearing walls of "Torre Grossa" (Big Tower).File in questo prodotto:
