This report should present the detailed design of the MITICA Safety System. As for SPIDER, a large part of MITICA Safety is fully integrated and included in the overall PRIMA Safety System. Therefore, considering the information presently available concerning the MITICA Plant Units and auxiliary systems, the detailed design of the MITICA Safety System has been developed together with the SPIDER Safety System. As a consequence, the MITICA safety detailed design is properly described in the following documents: - T3.12-P1_RFX_SPIDER_TN_342_rev2_UPGRADE OF THE PRIMA-SPIDER SAFETY DESIGN REPORT - T3.12-P2_RFX_SPIDER_TS_028-SPIDER_Safety_Tech_Spec In line with the SPIDER reports, it is anyway useful to maintain and issue this report separated from the SPIDER one so that in the next reports it will be possible to describe in detail (when necessary) the design of Safety System specific for MITICA.
