This paper is meant to provide a survey of the information collected during approximately the last fifteen years on addition reactions of silicon centred radicals to compounds containing unsaturated bonds. Thedse reactions have received considerable attention and although most of the work has been concerned with substrates containing carbon-carbon and carbon-oxygen double bonds, they have been explited with almostall classes of unsaturated organic compounds. Because the scientific interests of the authors, attention is mainly focused on the information provided by spectroscopic studies (in particular by Electron Spin Resonance) but refrences are also given to kinetic and product studies.

Abstract
This paper is meant to provide a survey of the information collected during approximately the last fifteen years on addition reactions of silicon centred radicals to compounds containing unsaturated bonds. Thedse reactions have received considerable attention and although most of the work has been concerned with substrates containing carbon-carbon and carbon-oxygen double bonds, they have been explited with almostall classes of unsaturated organic compounds. Because the scientific interests of the authors, attention is mainly focused on the information provided by spectroscopic studies (in particular by Electron Spin Resonance) but refrences are also given to kinetic and product studies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
