We present a version of the Back-Propagation (BP) algorithm based on Level 3 BLAS, easily portable onto SIMD and MIMD computers. An implementation is shown for FPS M64 Series Minisupercomputers, where the peak performances of the processor are reached. Some biomedical applications of the proposed algorithm are shown: computer-aided diagnosis of dyspepsia, analysis of PH-metric data and reconstruction of ECG signals.

Abstract
