Poly(monosubstituted)acetylenes, namely poly(para-methoxyphenylacetylene) (MeOPPA), poly(N,N-dimethylpropargylamine) (PDMPA) and its chlorhydrate (PDMPA·HCl), have been used in the form of thin films as sensitive membranes for r.h. and alcohol vapours detection in resistive sensors. The sensors give selective responses to analytes. The responses depend on the chemical structure (i.e. on the nature of pendant groups) of polyacetylenes and on the presence of the dopant (I2).
SENSING MEMBRANES BASED ON POLY(MONOSUBSITUTED ACETYLENES) FOR DETECTION OF ALCOHOLS
2002
Abstract
Poly(monosubstituted)acetylenes, namely poly(para-methoxyphenylacetylene) (MeOPPA), poly(N,N-dimethylpropargylamine) (PDMPA) and its chlorhydrate (PDMPA·HCl), have been used in the form of thin films as sensitive membranes for r.h. and alcohol vapours detection in resistive sensors. The sensors give selective responses to analytes. The responses depend on the chemical structure (i.e. on the nature of pendant groups) of polyacetylenes and on the presence of the dopant (I2).File in questo prodotto:
