The paper aims at reviewing few of the most relevant results provided by microwave tomography enhanced GPR surveys in archeology and cultural heritage monitoring. In particular, two measurement campaigns are herein considered. The first one was carried out at the Centaur's Domus, Regio VI, one of the most ancient housing areas of Pompeii, in collaboration with the Second University of Napoli and the archaeology team of the University Orientale. The second one was performed at Grotte Dell'Angelo, Pertosa (SA), Italy.
