Dry weight and total protein content have been compared in developing, mature and germinating T.aestivum, T.turgidum and T.monococcum grains. Fractionation in different solubility class and characterization by SDS-PAGE of proteins of flour samples indicated a close relationship among synthesis, accumulation and degradation of storage proteins during two physiological periods of maturation and germination of wheat grains.

Abstract
Dry weight and total protein content have been compared in developing, mature and germinating T.aestivum, T.turgidum and T.monococcum grains. Fractionation in different solubility class and characterization by SDS-PAGE of proteins of flour samples indicated a close relationship among synthesis, accumulation and degradation of storage proteins during two physiological periods of maturation and germination of wheat grains.File in questo prodotto:
