Abstract
Melanoma is one of the most aggressive tumors. Once melanoma becomes metastatic, current therapeutic strategies usually fail. In this chapter, we discuss the idea of using cancer stem cells as target. The identification of suitable biomarkers appears to be a crucial step in this direction.
