Anultrasonicflowmeterisacomplexdevicesthat,foritsdevelopment,involves differentdisciplinaryfieldssuchastheelectronics,themechanics,theacoustics andthematerialscience.Forthispurpose,ithasbeendevelopedbothasimulator ofanultrasonicflowmeterandanultrasonicflowmeterinordertovalidatethe simulator.Thesimulationtakeintoaccountofthetransducerproperty,ofthefluid dynamicsandoftheacousticpropagationinsidethemeasurementconductofflow meter.Inthiswork,theresultsofthesimulationsusedtodescribetheperformance ofanultrasonicflowmeterforliquidispresented.Furthermorethevalidationof theadoptedmodelshasbeenperformedcomparingthesimulationresultswiththe collecteddata.
