Abstract

Gaze shifts pose serious problems to the human visual system, causing transient spatial distortions. We simulate these distortions by assuming an undersampling of spatial information. We propose that such process helps maintaining stable space representations across sensors shifts, a strategy that may be useful also for wireless sensor networks.
