Abstract
The problem of the decay of metastable state due to thermal activation is studied. Experimental data referring to the supercurrent decay of an underdamped Josephson junction are compared with Kramers theory and its recent improvements. Significative aspects of the crossover region between the extremely underdamped regime and the moderate underdamped one are discussed.File in questo prodotto:
