Interaction of guided light waves in Ti-indiffused y cut LiNbO samples was made with surface acoustic waves and light intensity measurements were performed vs. the impinging angle of the light, such as to give information about the directivity patt&rn of the transducer. Anisotropy of tho acoustic slowness curve was set in evidence by the changing of the Bragg scattering angle for different directions of propagation.

Abstract
