This manual has been developed for the participation to the 13th edition of the "Festival della Scienza - 2015"(held in Genova, ltaly, from 21 October to 1November 2015).On the occasion the team of the Institute of Atmospheric Pollution Research (CNR-IIA) has carried out an exhibition with experiments called "Equilibraria", aimed to disseminate scientific information on air pollution to students and ali citizens. The exhibition has included theoretical contents and (simulated) laboratory experiences on air quality issues. "Equilibraria" has also been a multimedia exhibition, realised inside the CNR-IIA mobile laboratory. The use of multimedia was aimed to increase the knowledge of the audience on environmental issues and to promote more sustainable behaviours in citizens. In particular, students and citizens have been lead to explore how ambient air quality, that we normally breathe (outdoor and indoor), is measured, quantified and managed in our cities. "Equilibraria" has been one of 310 projects, among exhibitions, workshops, conferences, shows and special events that have been submitted to the Scientific Council of the "Festival della Scienza - 2015". The Council has evaluated the quality of scientific contents and the impact on the audience of these proposals. Following this stage of selection, "Equilibraria" received a positive assessment, which provided its access to the Festival.

Abstract
Following this stage of selection, "Equilibraria" received a positive assessment, which provided its access to the Festival.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
