To evaluate possible health risk related to occupational exposure in MRI, the micronucleus frequency in buccal mucosa cells was measured in workers and in controls. Pilot results indicate no differences between the two groups, but a larger number of donors is required. A procedure for the evaluation of occupational exposure to electromagnetic fields is being disseminated for workers formation.

Abstract
