In the light of new experimental results of microwave propagation in the near field, we demonstrate that, in addition to a standard electromagnetic description, the results obtained can be interpreted as a case of "weakmeasurement". In this framework, the analysis is performed in a similar way to the one already carried out for interpreting optical tunneling.
