The current introduction of the WLTP type-approval testing, complemented by the Real Driving Emissions (RDE), implies the opportunity to start a reflection, which can go further than a simple perspective of air emission reduction, for looking at the future of transport, automotive industry and environment. The presentation stimulates an interactive exercise for formulating two perspectives: 1) A shorter-term perspective (e.g. How the transition from NEDC to WLTP will be managed by the relevant authorities within the member states of the EU? What will be their impact on the automotive sector? Will the consumers' trust re-established? etc..); 2) A longer-term perspective (e.g. Where is the EU going? What ambitions? A new mobility paradigm? end of oil dependency?). In particular, 2017 EC communication EUROPE ON THE MOVE (EU agenda for a socially fair transition towards clean, competitive and connected mobility for all) provides a structure for a long-term perspective.

Abstract
In particular, 2017 EC communication EUROPE ON THE MOVE (EU agenda for a socially fair transition towards clean, competitive and connected mobility for all) provides a structure for a long-term perspective.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
