Abstract
NIR light may be used to control at distance the physicochemical properties of nanomaterials, which in turn can elicit diverse cell activities. We show the possibility to finely tune the heat generated by gold nanoparticles under NIR illumination and report on two different applications in biology, for in vivo cell ablation or local drug delivery, paving the way for advanced therapies based on light.File in questo prodotto:
