The scope of this document is to present the final assessment and the technology development plan for the CS-based instrument designed for the Detailed Design Review (DDR). With reference to the Deliverable TN3, issued at the DDR, the instrument is: - Concept #5A - "UV-VIS hyperspectral imager with dispersive elements on orbiter", which relies on a classical CS approach addressing the reconstruction of the full image/signal. According to the SOW, the present TN4 Report includes: oCritical evaluation of the design and its performance. oProposed technology development activities. oRoad-map for development and qualification activities up to Engineering Model. In addition, as reported at DDR, a further configuration addressing an upgraded version of the Concept #5A was designed at a Preliminary Design level. The latter exploits the light rejected by the DMD mirrors in off-position to implement an additional channel, with the aim of extending the application field and/or the performance of the instrument. The configuration designed at DDR level is called: "Concept #5A - Standard configuration", whereas the upgraded version designed at PDR level is called: "Concept #5A - Double arm configuration".

Abstract
The configuration designed at DDR level is called: "Concept #5A - Standard configuration", whereas the upgraded version designed at PDR level is called: "Concept #5A - Double arm configuration".I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
