Improved procedures to fabricate LTc superconducting devices based on high quality all refractive Nb/Nb junctions have been developed. Such reliable procedures have allowed the fabrication of Nb/AlOx/Nb structures and non-conventional light-sensitive junctions involving semiconducting tunneling barriers. Junctions and SQUID devices have been used in basic Physic investigations and in biomagnetic instrumentations.

Abstract
