The constant voltage steps generated by a slightly damped Josephson junction driven by short rectangular current pulses are studied within the RSJ model for a broad range of dc and rf bias. The height of the rf-induced steps strongly depends on model parameters but always largely exceeds that of a sinusoidally driven junction. The dynamical response of the junction is also briefly analyzed.

Abstract
The constant voltage steps generated by a slightly damped Josephson junction driven by short rectangular current pulses are studied within the RSJ model for a broad range of dc and rf bias. The height of the rf-induced steps strongly depends on model parameters but always largely exceeds that of a sinusoidally driven junction. The dynamical response of the junction is also briefly analyzed.File in questo prodotto:
