The present paper studies the supply chain and network design for re- and de-manufacturing plants of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in the context of reverse logistics. A model for the network design based on the mathematical modelling and simulation is proposed. The network configuration considers the location of the plants and allocation of the PCBs from different sources in order to minimize the transportation and plants' investment costs. The model is applied to a case study of the regional PCB treatment plants in Lombardy region.

Abstract
The present paper studies the supply chain and network design for re- and de-manufacturing plants of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in the context of reverse logistics. A model for the network design based on the mathematical modelling and simulation is proposed. The network configuration considers the location of the plants and allocation of the PCBs from different sources in order to minimize the transportation and plants' investment costs. The model is applied to a case study of the regional PCB treatment plants in Lombardy region.File in questo prodotto:
