Abstract

This paper reports on the additive manufacturing of waveguide components and subassemblies for antenna-feed chains operating in the Ku, K and Ka bands. The aim of the activity is the monolithic manufacturing of an entire dual-band antenna-feed chain working in K-Ka bands. To this aim, several components have been preliminary fabricated through the selective laser melting process in AlSi10Mg alloy, for which detailed comparisons between predicted and measured performances are reported.
