The article presents a review of the latest initiatives taken at the supra-national level to promote gender equality in research. Particularly, it focuses on the analysis of the World Economic Forum and on the directives and recommendations adopted by the European Commission and by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The author then illustrates the possible initiatives to be taken in relation to the experience and the first results of the European Horizon 2020 Project GENERA (Gender Equality Network in the European Research Area), which is still in progress.
L'articolo presenta una disamina delle più recenti iniziative prese a livello sovranazionale per favorire l'eguaglianza di genere nella ricerca. In particolare si sofferma sulle analisi del World Economic Forum e sulle direttive e raccomandazioni adottate dalla Commissione Europea e dall'Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. L'autrice illustra successivamente le possibili iniziative da prendere in relazione all'esperienza e ai primi risultati del Progetto Europeo Horizon 2020 GENERA (Gender Equality Network in the European Reserch Area) tutt'ora in corso.
