Harmonization of national regulations in the field of acoustic pollution with european legislation

Legislative Decree 42/2017 on "Provisions on the harmonization of national legislation on noise pollution, pursuant to Article 19, paragraph 2, letters a), b), c), d), e), f) and h) of the law 30th October 2014, n. 161 "concerns a general revision, update and correction of both the framework law on noise pollution 26th October 1995, n. 447 of the legislative decree 19th August 2005, n. 194, implementing Directive 2002/49/EC concerning the determination and management of environmental noise. Important changes have been introduced to the contents, both of the framework law on noise pollution 447/1995, and of the legislative decree 195/2005, of the implementation of Directive 2002/49 / EC concerning the determination and management of environmental noise, while relating the legislative decree 262/2002, for the implementation of the directive 2000/14/CE concerning the acoustic emission of machines and equipment intended to work outdoors. With the legislative decree 42/2017 the profession of competent acoustical technician is included among the professions not organized in orders or colleges under the law of 14th January 2013, n. 4 and therefore assumes a precise identity.
