The report addresses "Accessibility" as articulated in the disability-specific international instruments, especially the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (the CRPD), in order to explore its core content and constituent elements. In addition, it focuses on the multiple dimensions of accessibility as applied in the context of health care of disabled people and its manifold implications, taking into account international and regional instruments, the case law of the European Court of Human Rights and domestic courts, the practice of the UN human rights treaty bodies and national best practices.
