This essay deals with Teseida, XI, 22-24, where the trees cut for Arcita's pyre are listed. The first part presents a linguistic study examining the passage from a lexicological point of view; the second part proposes a study of Boccaccio's sources aiming at highlighting the connections between the Teseida and the 'Laurentian Thebaid' (that is, one of the copies of Statius' poem owned by Boccaccio = ms. Laur. Plut. 38 6).
Il contributo prende in esame le ottave 22-24 del libro XI del Teseida, dedicate all'enumerazione degli alberi tagliati per la pira di Arcita. Nella prima parte si presenta uno studio linguistico che analizza il passo dal punto di vista lessicologico; nella seconda parte si propone uno studio delle fonti, teso a evidenziare i rapporti tra il poema boccacciano e la 'Tebaide laurenziana' (vale a dire una delle copie del poema staziano possedute da Boccaccio, il ms. Laur. Plut. 38 6).
