Abstract

In this work a laboratory-culture system based on the use of mono and multi-chromatic flashing LEDs as illumination source was set up with the aim to define the optimal wavelength range and combination stimulating the biomass production as growth rate and as final yield of two microalgal species, by means of short and long-term experiments, respectively.
