This Final Technical Progress Report is aimed to report on the work made by the team of National Research Council - Institute of Atmospheric Pollution Research (CNR-IIA), during the period December 2014 -December 2017, for the implementation of the Air Component of the GEF-funded project "Development of a Plan for Global Monitoring of Human Exposure to and Environmental Concentrations of Mercury", agreed between the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP, now referred as UN Environment) and the CNR-IIA, through the project Cooperation Agreement (signed by CNR-IIA on 2nd December 2014) and its successive Amendment N. 1 to the Project Cooperation Agreement (signed by CNR-IIA on 6th September 2016). The Project has involved the World Health Organization (WHO) for the implementation of Human-Bio Monitoring Component. The project is funded through grant 4E59 of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) to UNEP and with co-finance of WHO Europe, CNR-IIA and UNEP.
