Gestione ecocompatibile delle infestanti parassite con particolare riferimento a Phelipanche ramosa: risultati e prospettive

Parasitic weeds are a separate world in the weed universe. They have unique biological, morphological, physiological and ecological features that make them different from any other noxious weed. These characteristics have a great influence on the management possibilities. In this article, the life cycle of parasitic weeds, in particular of broomrapes, and the perspectives for their management are briefly described.

Le piante parassite rappresentano un mondo a parte nell'universo delle piante infestanti. Esse possiedono alcune caratteristiche biologiche, morfologiche, fisiologiche ed ecologiche che le rendono diverse da tutte le altre specie infestanti, e che influiscono grandemente sulle possibili strategie di gestione. In questa comunicazione viene brevemente illustrato il ciclo vitale delle piante parassite, con riferimento alle orobanche, e le prospettive di gestione.
