The core thermal transport in JET H and D L-modes with similar settings is analysed. Both Te and Ti are lower in H plasmas, the difference starting at the plasma edge. Differences in the core transport are observed with different isotope, especially when higher heating is used and fast ions are expected to play a role in the stabilization of ITG modes [1,2]. Differences are observed in both ion and electron transport.

Abstract
