This chapter is composed of two sections. Section 6.2 is focused on membrane reactors using inorganic catalysts, mainly in gas phase and temperature higher than 100 °C. Section 6.2 is dedicated to membrane bioreactors (MBR) that use catalysts of biological origin, mainly in the liquid phase and temperature lower than 100 °C.
