Building on previously funded workshops and pilot project, we would like to ensure the legacy of the Svalbard Snow Network through joint research publications (minimum 5). In order to foster and re-enforce international collaboration, three major goals will be addressed during the workshop: 1) scientific output in the form of peer-reviewed research articles, 2) the development and launch of an interactive web-based platform to facilitate planning, sharing of data and protocols among snow scientists either working or planning to work in Svalbard, 3) outreach activities (public conference and knowledge transfer). Looking into the future activities, we wish to discuss future activities and fundings opportunity as a collaborative effort. We also wish to open our group more widely and particularly to UNIS and SIOS in order to transfer our knowledge to students and to discuss potential future project in collaboration with SIOS

Abstract
We also wish to open our group more widely and particularly to UNIS and SIOS in order to transfer our knowledge to students and to discuss potential future project in collaboration with SIOSI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
