In this note are showed the first record from both the Algerian coast of the two cryptogenic herbivorous heterobranch Aplysia dactylomela Rang, 1828, commonly called "spotted sea hare", and Aplysia punctata (Cuvier, 1803), called "small rose sea hare" or "common sea hare".
