The work is developed starting from the definition of landscape given by the European Convection about Landscape and in some urbanistic documents of city of Rome. It is underscored the inseparable link between landscape and mindscape. In this context are read the sustainable mobility polices and cycling policy in particular. A space is given to the Critical Mass Movement and the direct actions by single cyclist and to the past and current projects for a city sustainable mobility. At the end, the results of a survey with some cyclists in Rome are reported, to comfort the thesis that cycling changes the perception of landscape of Rome and promote a different way of life.
