The paper illustrates two cases of creative urban regeneration which are mainly focused on public spaces, namely Milla Digital project in Zaragoza and Marseille Mediterranée in Marseille, both in the framework of the cluster of event. The methodology used for the collection of information and materials is explained in a suitable section. Conclusions illustrate the main questions which, starting from the two case studies, can be observed and considered of general interest for the creative city in relation to the public spaces.
