Abstract
The effectiveness and efficiency of a new technological approach based on catalytic wet oxidation processes for the detoxification of very polluted wastewaters originated from marine harbour activities have been assessed. A multi-stages demonstration plant, with a net capacity of 1.0 m3/day, which combine different wastewater treatment technologies has been realized and validated in the industrial relevant environment of Augusta's harbour (Noé & Co. shipyard, Italy), achieving a water purification grade of the tap water.File in questo prodotto:
