The presentation dealt with several issue. First at all, it showed the effects of climate changes and water scarcity on global and Mediterranean scale and the consequent need of environmental strategies to face it in the next years. It focused on the importance of consociation and intercropping in agroecosystems for their resilience property. In particular, it was showed the potential introduction of native plants in the farms cultivations, together with the ordinary cropping. The measures of water use effciency, applying stable isotopes analyses, confirmed the great value of this approach. In conclusion, it was showed the importance of sustainable approaches to create the conditions of long-term cultivations in the farms threatened by climate, as the Jordan ones. The presentation was performed at offices of Jordan Exporters and Producers Association for Fruit and Vegetables (JEPA), in presence of: Zuhair Arif Jweihan (Vice Chairman JEPA), Khaled Yehya (General Director of Royal Society for the Conseravtion of Nature - RSCN), a representant of Mutah University and Fares Braizat (Chairman of NAMA).

Abstract
The presentation was performed at offices of Jordan Exporters and Producers Association for Fruit and Vegetables (JEPA), in presence of: Zuhair Arif Jweihan (Vice Chairman JEPA), Khaled Yehya (General Director of Royal Society for the Conseravtion of Nature - RSCN), a representant of Mutah University and Fares Braizat (Chairman of NAMA).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
