Abstract
Solution blow spinning (SBS) is used to produced microfibrillar mats of nanocomposites based on Poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate), EVA, filled with silver nanoparticles (AgNp). This processing method is demonstrated to be very effective to uniformly disperse the AgNp within the EVA fibers. Different nanocomposites are prepared by simply changing the composition in terms of the AgNp content (0, 1, 2, 3 and 6 % by weight of Ag). This work consists on preliminary results about the characterization of these nanocomposites where it is studied the influence of the nanofiller on the materials morphology using scanning electron microscopy, SEM, structure using Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy, FTIR, as well as their thermal behavior by the use of differential scanning calorimetry, DSC, and dynamic-mechanical analysis, DMA.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
