In 2016 the Institute for Technologies Applied to Cultural Heritage of the National Council of Research, Italy, (ITABC-CNR), in collaboration with the Nicosia Municipality and the Cyprus Institute, performed a photogrammetric survey of the Nicosia walls on the Greek-Cypriot side and within the Nicosia Masterplan project. The main goal of the survey was to create high quality data for cultural heritage, namely a detailed and scientifically accurate Digital Replica (limited to color and geometry) of the walls, aimed at producing detailed models at a territorial scale and, at the same time, experimenting new methods of quick documentation on urban scale for the protection, study and documentation enhancement of the monument under investigation.

Abstract
In 2016 the Institute for Technologies Applied to Cultural Heritage of the National Council of Research, Italy, (ITABC-CNR), in collaboration with the Nicosia Municipality and the Cyprus Institute, performed a photogrammetric survey of the Nicosia walls on the Greek-Cypriot side and within the Nicosia Masterplan project. The main goal of the survey was to create high quality data for cultural heritage, namely a detailed and scientifically accurate Digital Replica (limited to color and geometry) of the walls, aimed at producing detailed models at a territorial scale and, at the same time, experimenting new methods of quick documentation on urban scale for the protection, study and documentation enhancement of the monument under investigation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
