Abstract
The design of wideband microwave and millimetre-wave filters requires very accurate synthesis procedures. In this paper a novel system identification technique is applied in conjunction with a scattering matrix approach to the synthesis of waveguide filters [10]. The presented technique is capable of correctly handling all the degradation effects caused by dispersion, multimodal interactions and losses. The identification process is based on the response evaluation of an abstract discrete system. Design examples confirm the efficiency of the method.File in questo prodotto:
