The Behavior & Sensory WG of the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC) is dedicated to the behavioral phenotyping of adult mice (age 6-16 weeks) of mutant and control lines. The behavioral procedures in the adult pipeline include: Open Field, CSD, Grip Strength, Acoustic Startle/PPI, Fear Conditioning, Y Maze, Light/Dark Box, Acoustic Brainstem Response (ABR). In addition or, if possible, in substitution of some procedures, automated home cage analysis is being considered in the WG discussions. The WG feels this is a new and exciting avenue for behavior testing as it removes much of environmental changes that adversely impact other behavioral tests. Examples of home cage monitoring data are presented.

Abstract
Examples of home cage monitoring data are presented.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
