By Hippocrates treatise titled "The sacred disease" (V cent. b.C.), which represents the real headlight of the entire Hippocraticus Corpus, we can know the Author's disagreement about the usefulness of all medicaments to threat the epilepsy (sacred disease) in his time; moreover, his disagreement regards the magic-religious Medicine which is against Hippocratic scientific Medicine. The present work takes in account very much how some important Greek authors believe about the magic-religious Medicine during both Ancient and Classic Age; by this we can show its long and great presence until the birth of that popular Medicine in the past century which we find in the Mediterranean contemporary people
