In this paper, the problem of synchronizing two gyroscopes with measures affected by an unknown additive sinusoidal disturbance is addressed. Firstly, an observer able to practically estimate the gyroscope state and the sinusoidal disturbance is proposed and tested in a simulative example. Secondly, a control law able to steer the state of a second gyroscope to a desired configuration is proposed. Finally, these two techniques are combined to achieve 'practical' synchronization of the two gyroscopes.

Abstract
In this paper, the problem of synchronizing two gyroscopes with measures affected by an unknown additive sinusoidal disturbance is addressed. Firstly, an observer able to practically estimate the gyroscope state and the sinusoidal disturbance is proposed and tested in a simulative example. Secondly, a control law able to steer the state of a second gyroscope to a desired configuration is proposed. Finally, these two techniques are combined to achieve 'practical' synchronization of the two gyroscopes.File in questo prodotto:
