A wide range of techniques have been proposed for solving constrained 2-D image restoration problems. The 2-D nature of these algorithms generally results in a high computational cost. In this paper we describe a technique for decomposing the 2-D problem into a set of indipendent 1-D problems based on the Projection Slice Theorem. The computational savings and performance of this technique are investigated.

Abstract
A wide range of techniques have been proposed for solving constrained 2-D image restoration problems. The 2-D nature of these algorithms generally results in a high computational cost. In this paper we describe a technique for decomposing the 2-D problem into a set of indipendent 1-D problems based on the Projection Slice Theorem. The computational savings and performance of this technique are investigated.File in questo prodotto:
