Results from the 'Fratelli di sport' surveys · The following syllogism is in efect false: sport puts all athletes on an equal footing, without distinction regarding ethnicity, religious beliefs, social afliation, and it also induces a transformation of social relations, making them only athletic performance and reducing any kind of discrimination. In this paper a particular experience is described. During the last 3 years the irpps-cnr participated to a project named 'Sport and Integration' to investigate about the relation between the two and to understand what would be the way to use the resource of sport practice to stimulate good relations between young people. Thus, a complex survey on a national sample of students and teachers was conducted. All the results indicated that practicing sports is not enough to create good social relationships but the inclusion at school of a didactic of sport more oriented to eliminate obstacles in the interpersonal relationships can help to manage peer relationships in the school context and outside.
